Payment for Housekeeping Services

  • Text Diana at the end of your stay to inform her to come do the Departure Cleaning. Give Diana an idea of your group size and how many rooms were used. This will help Diana plan for the amount of time to set aside for that weeks cleaning.
  • Diana will let you know how many hours it took her to clean the house and text you the total due for your stay. Please Venmo your payment in a timely matter to: Diana Cardwell @Diana-Cardwell-1907

Different types of services & cleaning services offered

  • Grocery Run
  • Pre-Arrival Cleaning
  • Boat House Cleaning
  • Departure Cleaning (Not an option – required)
  • Seasonal Heavy Cleaning – Paid by the Lake Account

Grocery Run: (Gas will be included in the price)

  • List of groceries should be sent to Diana’s email no later then 24hrs before arrival. Please notify Diana earlier in the week if you will need this service so she has time to plan her schedule.

Pre-Arrival Cleaning: (Deep cleaning before your arrival)

  • Dusting and cleaning in each living area and bedroom.
  • Cleaning mirrors and televisions throughout the house.
  • Polishing the tables.
  • Cleaning doors and windows inside and outside including baseboards.
  • IF needed re-cleaning bathrooms; floors, toilets, mirrors, counter tops.
  • IF needed re-vacuuming living areas and bedrooms, making sure to use the attachments in order to get bugs off the baseboards.
  • Dry moping hardwood floors.
  • Wiping off the out door furniture and dinning table, coffee tables, side tables
  • Bringing out the rocking chair cushions from the upper deck furniture containers
  • Depending of the time of year: Help coordinate with Terri Alexander to make sure plenty of firewood is placed in strategic areas.
    • Fall/Winter
      • Cooper barrel next to the Main Room Chimney under the TV
      • Outside Fire-pit on the deck
      • Outside Fire-pit at the end of the water spring.
      • Rode side of the house near the front door, to the left.
    • Spring/Summer
      • Making sure spider webs are wiped away from the outdoor desks. Terry’s men use the their blower, there is also one in our garage if needed.

Boat House Cleaning:

  • Vacuuming outdoor area rug
  • Making sure the bugs are cleaned up
  • Cleaning off the counter tops and sink
  • Taking off the furniture covers and placing them in the furniture contains
  • Wiping and cleaning the furniture on the deck
  • Making sure a trash bag is under the sink in the trash container

Departure Cleaning: (Cleaning after your party leaves)

  • *This cleaning is not optional. We all want to leave the lake in good condition for the next group. Price reflects the amount of time Diana spent cleaning for the size of your group.
  • Washing and changing all used beds
  • Washing all the dirty towels
  • Cleaning the bathrooms; floors, toilets, mirrors, counter tops
  • Bathrooms should always be checked and left equip with 3 rolls of toilet paper, Q-tips, wash pads, make-up remover, hand lotion, hand soap, conditioner, shampoo & body wash.
  • Vacuuming the carpets in the living areas and bedrooms
  • Dry moping hardwood floors
  • Cleaning the kitchen and bar (with special granite cleaner)
  • Unloading dishes in the dishwasher
  • Use Master Clean sponges to clean all scuffmarks on doors, walls and stair rises.
